Facilities at Wildlife Camp

Restaurant & Bar

Our main restaurant & bar is conveniently located in the centre of camp and caters to all tastes. The restaurant overlooks a drinking-hole which mean you can sometimes share a drink with the local tower of giraffe. Our local chefs are on hand to prepare anything from early hearty breakfasts, to full three-course dinners in the evening. We have a great team in the kitchen and use fresh local produce wherever possible. We support many of our local farmers and they can often be seen cycling into the camp daily with baskets full of fresh vegetables.

Our freshly baked bread is famous throughout the Luangwa Valley and we offer one of the best Zambian styles buffets this side of the copper belt. If you are joining us for an overnight stay in the Bushcamp our chef will amaze you with his skills on an open fire.

For our full-board guests, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner is included. It is as easy as arriving in the restaurant and waiting to be served.

Warthogs bar & Swimming pool

Wildlife Camp undoubtedly has one of the best views in the Luangwa Valley for watching the sunset across the Luangwa River, so please join us for a sun-downer at our Warthogs bar and appreciate the true beauty of Zambia. The bar offers ice cold local and imported beer, wine, spirits, something stronger, soft drinks and juice. Each night as the sun sets, hippos make their way slowly ashore, so you can do your game viewing from the comfort of the bar! The swimming pool is next to the bar and the ideal place to spend the hot summer afternoons.

Wi-Fi

Wildlife Camp has a small outdoor internet café where guests can use the internet to catch up with friends and family back home, upload some of their safari photos onto social media (please remember that internet in the middle of the bush can be slow and frustrating!) or just check in on what is going on around the world.
